1. What if someone has 25 tola Gold, should he/she pay zakat on the entire quantity (25 tola) or need to deduct 7.5 tola gold from 25 tola and then pay zakat on the remaining?
   No deduction. Zakat will be obligatory on the entire quantity of gold.
   


2. Is buying/selling of stocks Halal in Islam ?
   It is Halal provided the company is not involved in the business that is illegal in Shariat.
   


3. What if someone owns the stocks for one month only. Is zakat obligatory on it?
   Zakat would still be obligatory even if the duration was one day. If an individual pay zakat let's say on 15th of Ramadan every year and he becomes the owner of the shares one day prior to 15th of Ramadan then zakat will be obligatory on that as well.
   


4. What if someone losses money in stocks. Should he/she still pay zakat on it?
   Yes zakat will be obligatory on the remaining amount.
   


5. How much is the Fitra for this year?
   Per 2.5 KG wheat price (approx. US $5).
   


6. Is it OK in Islam to ask for the receipt for tax purposes from the related organization. If so, will the individual get the same reward from Allah (SWT)?
   Yes.
